I’m new to Morgans, although I always loved their lines growing up in New England. I have just purchased a Morgan Stallion, I’m looking at his pedigree and see Jubilee King, Silver Hawk, Prudence Ashmore, Waseeka’s Showtime, Pavlova, Nemours Pavlova…It looks like I have a horse with wonderful bloodlines. Now what? I would like to offer him up for stud, but I am unsure what I have. I was told his owner was trying to resurrect the old calvary working bloodlines. I know he is a Foundation Morgan, but is he a Lippit? I would like to advertise his services but do not want to post anything that may not be true. Does the AMHA help to identify classifications?

Thank goodness for the Idaho city police and their quick action so that some of the horses were saved. Sad that not all were.

I recall mention of one named “Jeff” or “Old Jeff” captured from confederates, named for Jefferson Davis. No info on what breed, but was with 5th NYVC.

Looking for photos or pictures of Blackhawk morgans owned by CF Hammond, or used by Co. H, 5th NY Vol Cavalry in Civil War.
Elmer John Barker, a trooper, was my greatgrandfather. Wwe are also kin to Penfield and Hammond.

I am so glad that this story has a happy ending. My sister is a type 1 diabetic and is now applying photonic therapy to stimulate her pancreas to produce insulin. She has been doing it for less than a week, so possibly too early to report on the effectiveness of this approach.

OMG! Poor horses….I am so very sorry. The sick so n so people responsible should recieve the same treatment…any other punishment will not be enough. I guess we can never be to careful. I am getting a padlock!

Where are those seven Top Secret decendants with the Southview Prefix now? Are there only seven Lippitt Morgans with the Southview prefix- or are there more?- with a different sire? I was at Southview Morgans in Ft. Wayne, IN, in 1995, Southview Sara and Southview Whisper were the last to go as the farm closed, their breeder/owner Dale Redding retireing. Both were bays- perfect examples of the Lippitt type. Where are they and any of the horses bred there or their decendedants now? Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
