Tracing Old Bloodlines
I have now three Morgan mares, purchased from Ted Willrich’s (famous horse trainer to many world champions) last and best stock. They have lineages from old blood lines such as MM Lyndon, Trophy and Charger-Supercharger. Can anyone tell a new Morgan enthusiast how to find out more about these magnificent bloodlines? Ted has died now so I am trying to piece together all he knew….for my breeding program. I would appreciate some advice on where to start in my search.

It is about the best out there for pedigree research. There are also many articles on Wendy’s site that can help you get started.

If you contact me at wendy@oldgrowthoakmorgans I would be happy to help you research the horses that you have. I will need thier registered names and AMHA numbers if you have them…. if you dont then if you have the sire and dam and the date of birth we will go from there.
